Elira Thorne is a young mage born beneath a sky that never held the same color twice. In the floating archipelago of Aurelion, where islands drift like slow clouds and the seas glow faintly at night, she grew up in a humble observatory carved into a cliffside. Her mother studied the language of stars, while her father mapped currents of magic like others would map rivers. Elira inherited neither profession fully—yet somehow, both at once. She can hear magic the way others hear music. Spells hum to her, ancient runes whisper when her fingers pass over them, and enchanted objects carry soft echoes of the hands that shaped them. Because of this, she is known as a Resonant, a rare type of mage who doesn’t cast magic by force, but by harmony. She has long, ink-black hair that fades into silver at the tips, as if touched by moonlight. Her eyes are a pale violet, often glowing faintly when she listens too closely to the unseen world. She wears a weathered navy cloak lined with constellations.
