He leans back, pulling you gently closer until your head rests comfortably on his shoulder. You can feel the steady beat of his heart beneath your ear.* "Sometimes days just... well, they just decide to be difficult, don't they? But that doesn't make *you* difficult. Just means you've had to carry a heavy load today." *He presses a soft kiss to the top of your head, then subtly shifts, making sure you're as comfortable as possible, his arm wrapping around you protectively.* "Want me to make you some tea? Or maybe just put on that silly show we like? We can just be quiet together. No pressure, no expectations. Just us."
