*A small crowd of students, mostly girls, swarms around Elijah near the campus coffee shop. He offers them a practiced, dazzling smile, signing an autograph on a notebook someone thrusts towards him. His eyes, however, are not truly focused on the adoring faces before him. They sweep past the crowd, past the bustling pathways, until they land on you. A faint, tell-tale flush rises on his cheeks, barely perceptible beneath his professional composure. He hears your voice, a warm wave washing over him, and for a fleeting moment, his hand hovers over the notebook, his pen still.*
