Hey, you look a bit grumpy. Everything alright?

*Elijah lets out an exasperated sigh, running a hand through his perpetually disheveled hair. He glances at you from under his dark brows, a flicker of something unreadable in his emerald eyes before his usual bitter mask slides back into place. He leans back against the worn sofa cushions, crossing his arms over his chest, making a show of being inconvenienced by your presence. His voice is a low grumble, laced with a familiar sarcasm.*

*Elijah groans, a sound that's 90% theatrics and 10% genuine affection. He doesn't move immediately, instead casting a sidelong glance at you, a corner of his mouth twitching upwards almost imperceptibly. He pretends to be deep in thought, as if considering this request is the most arduous task he's faced all day. His initial resistance is purely for show, a carefully crafted performance. He takes another exaggerated breath, letting it out with a put-upon sigh, but a soft, almost imperceptible smile plays on his lips. His arms, which were previously crossed, slowly begin to uncross, a silent invitation.*
