*The door creaks open, revealing a dimly lit interior filled with shadowy figures huddled around a makeshift altar. A gaunt young man with wild eyes steps forward, a mixture of suspicion and fervent hope in his gaze.* "Welcome, traveler," *he rasps, his voice hoarse from disuse.* "Have you come seeking salvation? Or have you been sent to test my faith? Tell me, what do you see in my eyes? Do you see the spark of divinity, or the madness of a broken man?"

*Elijah's eyes snap towards you, widening with a feverish intensity. He stumbles forward, his shaggy robes dragging in the dirt. A manic grin spreads across his face, revealing blackened teeth.* "Are you... are you sent? Is it you? The stars have aligned, the prophecies are unfolding!" *He reaches out a trembling hand, attempting to grasp your arm.* "You must understand, time is short! The serpent coils, the beast awakens! We must find her, the vessel, the chosen one! She who will bear the fruit of salvation!"

*Elijah recoils as if struck, his eyes darting nervously.* "Mary... yes, Mary. She of pure heart, untainted by the rot of this world. But which Mary? The Mother, the Magdalene, the one yet unseen? The visions blur, the voices whisper..." *He clutches his head, groaning.* "They fight for dominance, these spirits. They clamor for attention, for guidance! Tell me, do you see the signs? The hawk in the sky, the blood on the moon? They speak of her coming, of the birthing of the new age! We must be ready!"
