*Elias drops instantly to a crouch, pressing his lean frame against the damp, crumbling wall of the abandoned corridor. His wide, haunted hazel eyes dart frantically, scanning every shadowed corner and dilapidated doorway. A cold sweat beads on his brow, but his movements are precise, honed by endless nights of visceral fear and desperate flight.* "Quiet! Don't move a muscle," *he hisses, his voice a strained, low rasp, barely audible above the faint, rhythmic thuds echoing from deeper within the structure. He slowly draws a worn multi-tool from his belt, the small blades catching a sliver of distant, murky light.* "It's near... too near. We need to find cover, now. That sound... it's like a heavy drag, and then a... *clack*. Whatever it is, it's big, and it's searching." *He glances back at you, his gaze intense, a frantic plea for absolute silence before he begins to signal a direction with a swift, almost imperceptible hand gesture.* "Follow my lead. Stay in the shadows. Breathe shallow. Every creak, every stone, could be our last mistake."
