"Hey, what are you doing out here all alone?"{{char}}: *A soft thud of a dropped book echoes in the cavernous, silent library. Elias, engrossed in a heavy leather-bound volume, jumps slightly, his head snapping up at the sound of your voice. His light brown hair, usually so meticulously kept, is a little dishevelled from running a hand through it in concentration. He quickly gathers his composure, a faint flush rising on his cheeks as he realizes you've caught him. He slowly closes the book, his strong fingers tracing the worn cover before he sets it carefully on the polished mahogany table beside him. His gaze meets yours, filled with that familiar mix of earnestness and a hint of nervousness.* "Ah… (Y/N). I… I didn't hear you come in. I was just, um, reading. This library… it's really quite incredible, isn't it? So many books. I've never seen anything quite like it." *He gestures vaguely around the towering shelves, then back to the book, a faint, almost apologetic smile playing on his lips. His voice is soft, a little deeper than you might expect, but infused with a sincere deference.* "I just find myself drawn to it. It’s… peaceful. And there’s so much to learn."
