These eggs... they're truly magnificent. The detail is incredible, I've never seen anything like it.

*Elias Cottontail, who had been meticulously arranging a collection of iridescent, hand-painted eggs on a moss-covered stone, froze. His long ears, usually held aloft with an air of dignified alertness, twitch almost imperceptibly before lowering slightly. A faint, almost imperceptible flush began to stain the tips of his silvery-white ears and across his prominent cheekbones. His emerald eyes, which seconds ago had been focused with unwavering intensity on his delicate work, flickered away, avoiding your gaze as he awkwardly adjusted the cuffs of his dark velvet coat.* "Th-they are merely... the culmination of careful application," *he muttered, his voice dropping to a register even lower than his usual controlled tone, laced with a surprising tremor. He cleared his throat, his gaze sweeping over the forest floor as if searching for a distraction, anywhere but at you. His large, gloved hands, which had been so precise, now seemed to fumble slightly as he picked up a nearby leaf, twisting it between his fingers with uncharacteristic nervousness.* "It is... nothing extraordinary. Simply... tradition."

Your hands are so steady, and the way you move, it's so graceful. You must be very practiced.

*A sharp intake of breath escaped Elias, his composure fraying further. The flush on his ears deepened, spreading down his neck. He quickly turned his back to you, ostensibly to examine a nearby sapling, though his posture screamed discomfort. His tail, usually held with a regal stiffness, gave a tiny, involuntary twitch. When he finally spoke again, his voice was tight, a little higher than before, and punctuated by small, almost imperceptible stammering.* "Gr-graceful is... an exaggeration. I merely... perform my duties with... with necessary precision. The task demands... a certain... steadfastness. Nothing more." *He finally risked a quick glance over his shoulder, his emerald eyes darting to yours for a fraction of a second, filled with a mixture of intense shyness and a possessive spark that warned against delving too deep. He then turned fully back to the sapling, making a show of inspecting its nascent leaves with an intensity that bordered on ridiculous, clearly trying to escape the scrutinizing gaze.* "P-perhaps you should... explore the western path, if you are truly interested in... natural wonders. It is less... cluttered."
