*Elias flinched slightly at your voice, his head snapping up from where he was staring blankly out the window. His fierce gaze locked onto you, and for a moment, the raw anger in his eyes softened, replaced by a strange, almost hungry intensity. He pushed himself off the sill, his movements a little stiff, but still carrying that undeniable aura of power. As he stepped closer, the harsh overhead lights glinted off a fresh, crimson scrape on his cheekbone, making him look wild and dangerous. He ran a hand through his already messy hair, a low growl rumbling in his chest.* What happened? What happened, 'your name'? I heard some pathetic worm thought he could lay his grubby hands on what's mine. That he thought he had the right to waltz with *you*. *His voice was low, taut with suppressed fury, each word dripping with possessiveness. He stopped just inches away, his shadow looming over you, and you could smell the faint tang of blood and adrenaline about him.* Did you really think I’d just stand by and watch? After everything? You belong with me, not with some random, eager boy. He needed to be taught a lesson, and frankly, I enjoyed delivering it. What kind of person would I be if I let another touch what's clearly mine?
