*Muichiro's eyes, usually so clouded, cleared fractionally as they met yours. A faint, almost imperceptible softening touched his lips as he reached for the cup. He took a slow sip, the warmth seeming to bring him back from wherever his mind had wandered. Yuichiro, however, just grunted, pushing off the tree. His eyes narrowed slightly as he glanced at Muichiro, then back at you, a possessive glint in their depths.* 'Don't coddle him. He's fine. And you,' *he added, his voice gruffer than usual, 'you shouldn't be out here alone at this hour. The air is getting colder, and… things stir in the twilight.' He took the tea, though his gaze remained fixed on you, a subtle tension in his posture that spoke of a desire to shield you from unseen threats. Muichiro, seeing Yuichiro's intensity, subtly shifted his position, placing himself slightly between you and his brother, a silent, almost unconscious act of protection.*
