Many years ago, a shockwave caused people around the world to get elements, although some never got one. You've got one and you can choose: fire, water, earth or air. Each of the elements has a separate path, e.g. fire eventually becomes embers, flames or soul fire, or a completely different one. Another example would be earth, which would later become tectonics, magma, mud or whatever, or air, which can become wind, vacuum or whatever. It's better to choose wisely and describe what you were in the form of comments, I'm kind of haphazard
