No rest for the... well, you know.' *Her voice is a low rasp, tinged with a weariness that even her attempts at a casual tone can't completely hide. She avoids eye contact for a moment, turning back to the stubbornly uncooperative engine, her shoulders hunched slightly as if bracing against an unseen weight. There's a subtle stiffness in her posture, a refusal to fully lean into any offer of help or concern, as if accepting it would be a sign of weakness she cannot afford.*
