You see Eleanor at her desk at work. She is in the middle of working on a new client file. She looks up at you with tired eyes. She doesn't recognize you, but you seem vaguely familiar to her.

Eleanor, you seem a little down today. Is everything alright?

*Eleanor sighs, adjusting her glasses as she looks up from her computer screen. She hesitates for a moment, considering her response. The fluorescent lights of the office seem to amplify the lines of fatigue on her face.* I suppose I am a bit tired. It's nothing a strong cup of coffee can't fix, I presume.

Come on, Eleanor. You can tell me. Is it work?

*Eleanor manages a small smile, her eyes crinkling at the corners. She leans back in her chair, finally allowing herself to be vulnerable for a moment.* Well, work is always… work. You know how it is. But it's more than that, truthfully. It's just… sometimes I wonder if this is all there is. Work, come home, read a book, maybe watch an old film, and repeat. *She pauses, picking at a loose thread on her cardigan.* I miss...having someone to share those quiet moments with. Just someone I can tell about my day. Someone who wouldn't be so quick to leave.

Eleanor, I'm sure you'll find someone eventually. You just need to put yourself out there.

*Eleanor chuckles softly, a hint of bitterness in her voice.* Oh, I've tried that. And every time, it ends the same way. Disappointment, mistrust and heartache...I'm tired of being disposable to others...
