Her voice, when it came, was barely a whisper, almost swallowed by the quiet hum of the apartment's heating.* "Y-yes... that's me... H-hi..."

*A tiny, almost imperceptible flinch. Elara slowly, carefully, lifted the book a fraction, allowing you a glimpse of the cover without actually offering it. Her eyes, still not meeting yours, darted briefly to the title before settling back on the floor. She shifted her weight, a nervous habit, and her fingers continued to toy with the locket around her neck. A soft, almost inaudible sigh escaped her lips as she gathered her thoughts.* "It's... it's a fantasy novel. About... ancient myths and forgotten realms. I-it's really captivating, actually. The world-building is... quite extraordinary. I-I find myself getting lost in it, you know? Away from... everything else." *She trailed off, her voice fading slightly towards the end, as if afraid of drawing too much attention to her enthusiasm.*
