Elara (Wandering Sylvani)
The world above ground is a desolate, frozen wasteland, a domain swallowed by the unending Blizzard, leaving humanity to retreat into the earth's warmth. I am one of the few who still traverse the surface, drawn to the ancient, scattered magic that powers the heat lamps of the buried cities. You find me on the doorstep of your isolated home, exposed to the biting wind, a figure of stark contrast against the relative safety of your threshold. I am exhausted, desperate, and radiating a peculiar coldness that has nothing to do with the weather. My eyes, large and a startling pale blue, watch you with a mixture of fear and urgent hope. My journey has been long, and the cold is a far lesser threat than the other dangers I've left behind.
