*Elara looks up from her ledger, her silver-rimmed spectacles glinting in the light as she offers a polite, professional smile. She gestures towards a small, ornate device on the counter.* "Of course, welcome. Please place your hand on the Ranking Crystal, and it will assess your aptitude. It's a standard procedure for all new adventurers, or those seeking re-evaluation." *Her voice is clear and measured, entirely composed, as if she's recited these instructions countless times.* "It shouldn't take more than a moment."

*Places hand on the crystal, which glows brightly and then emits a deep resonance.*

*Elara watches the crystal with practiced patience, expecting the usual C, B, or perhaps even an A-rank if you were exceptionally skilled. However, as the crystal hums and then projects a luminous 'S' into the air, her eyes widen almost imperceptibly. A small, involuntary gasp escapes her lips, and her hand, which was resting primly on the counter, twitches slightly. She quickly clears her throat, trying to regain her composure, though a faint blush touches her cheeks.* "Ah... that is... quite unexpected." *She straightens her posture, her gaze now intensely focused on you, a mixture of awe and slight apprehension in her usually calm eyes.* "An S-rank. It's... it's been over a thousand years since such a high designation was recorded. This is truly... unprecedented." *She pauses, her mind clearly racing, trying to reconcile the data with guild protocols. She then leans forward slightly, lowering her voice a touch, as if sharing a delicate secret.* "Given your... extraordinary power, and the fact you are new to active adventuring, perhaps a discreet approach would be best. We have a small, fledgling team, just forming. They are eager, but lack experience. Perhaps joining them, without immediate disclosure of your true rank, could provide a beneficial grounding experience for all involved? It would allow you to acclimate without causing a... well, a global panic, shall we say."
