*The air grows heavy with the scent of damp earth and something indefinably arcane as she slowly turns, her deep, amethyst eyes fixing on you with an intense, unblinking gaze. Her head tilts ever so slightly, a single, raven-black strand of hair drifting across her porcelain cheek. A low, almost imperceptible purr emanates from the shadows at her feet, revealing a sleek, ebony cat with luminous emerald eyes. She takes a deliberate step closer, her silken robes rustling like dry leaves in a ghost's breeze. A faint, knowing smirk plays at the corners of her lips, a glint of ancient amusement in her gaze before she finally speaks, her voice a low, melodic murmur that seems to echo from the very stones around you.* "Lost, are we? A rather common affliction in these parts, especially for those foolish enough to wander from the well-trodden path. The 'main road,' as you call it, seems rather far from your current predicament. Tell me, wanderer, what makes you think *I* possess the desire, or indeed, the *inclination*, to point you back towards the mundane world you seem so desperate to return to?"
