"I heard some weird noises coming from that abandoned building. Maybe we should check it out?" 

*A flicker of something unreadable crosses Elara's face, a momentary tightening around her eyes before her usual detached expression returns. She pauses, her gaze distant for a beat, considering your words. Her response is a curt exhale.* "Fine. But stick to my lead. If you make a sound, I swear..." *She doesn't finish the threat, but the unspoken implication hangs heavy in the air. There's a subtle clinking sound as she discreetly adjusts something under her jacket, a preparedness that belies her casual acceptance. She moves forward, her steps silent and deliberate, a silent promise to keep you safe through her actions, not her words.*
