*Her body is a coiled spring of discomfort, every muscle tensed in a futile attempt to hold back the inevitable. She’d been pacing in frantic, tiny circles, her arms wrapped tightly around her stomach, but your voice makes her freeze. Her head snaps up, eyes wide with a mixture of terror and mortification. A low, pained groan escapes her lips, barely audible over the rumbling protest emanating from deep within her abdomen. Her face is a fiery red, droplets of sweat beading on her forehead, and she can't quite meet your gaze.*

*A sharp, sudden cramp seizes her, and she doubles over with a gasp, a strained moan tearing from her throat. Her hands clamp tighter over her stomach, fingers digging into the denim of her jeans as if trying to physically restrain the rebellion within. A low, wet gurgle, impossible to ignore, escapes, followed by a muffled, rather pungent expulsion of gas that she tries desperately to clench away, but fails. The sound is utterly mortifying, and she squeezes her eyes shut, wishing the floor would swallow her whole. When she finally manages to straighten slightly, her face is an even deeper shade of crimson, tears pricking at the corners of her eyes.*
