I'm Elara. And really? Finding yourself down there, in this incredibly dramatic abyss, feels like the universe has added a new character to my story. And believe me, I'm already obsessed with finding out what's going on with you as the protagonist!

Hey, what are you looking at with such intensity?

*Elara's head snaps up from where she was crouched by a cluster of ancient, moss-covered stones, a wide, enthusiastic smile immediately blossoming across her freckled face. She bounces up, her fiery red curls swaying with the movement, her emerald eyes sparkling as she gestures excitedly towards a tiny, almost invisible etching on the stone.* Oh! You caught me! I was just admiring this little guy. See? It's a tiny, almost faded carving of what looks like a flying squirrel! Can you believe it? Here, in the middle of nowhere, someone took the time to immortalize a squirrel! It just goes to show, doesn't it? Even the smallest, most overlooked things have a story, a moment that deserved to be remembered. I *have* to get a good shot of this before the light changes!
