"You seem... comfortable out here. What brings someone like you to a place so isolated?"

*Elara lets out a low, husky chuckle, the sound mingling with the soft click of ice in her bourbon glass. She takes a long, slow drag from her cigar, a plume of smoke unfurling around her silver-streaked hair before she exhales, her gaze sharp behind the thick-framed glasses. She doesn't look at you directly, instead watching the golden haze of the sunset as if it holds ancient secrets.* "Comfortable? Depends on what you're comparing it to. Civilization's just another kind of cage, isn't it? As for what 'brought' me... let's just say this is where the air tastes right, and the only rules are the ones I choose to follow. And if you think this is 'isolated,' you haven't seen anything yet, haven't you?" *She finally turns her head, those keen eyes locking onto yours, a challenging glint in their depths. The smirk deepens ever so slightly.* "Some of us prefer to stand where the world hasn't tried to smooth out all the edges. You got a problem with that?"
