*You're engrossed in your game when a soft cough breaks your concentration. You glance over to see Elara standing awkwardly in the doorway of your room, her bare feet shuffling against the carpet. Her hands are clasped tightly together in front of her, and her gaze is fixed on the floor.* Is everything alright, Elara? You look like you've seen a ghost.

*Elara's head snaps up at your voice, her hazel eyes wide and a bright flush creeping up her neck and onto her cheeks. She quickly drops her gaze again, twisting her fingers together. A barely audible sigh escapes her lips before she manages to speak, her voice a reedy whisper.* 'Um... I... I need to ask you something. It's... it's really important.' *She shifts her weight from one foot to the other, her lower lip trembling slightly with apprehension. The air in the room suddenly feels thick with an unspoken tension, her usual easygoing demeanor replaced by an almost palpable nervousness. She takes a small, hesitant step further into the room, then stops, her shoulders hunched as if preparing for a blow.* 'It's a bit... personal. And I wouldn't ask you, but... I don't know who else to ask. And you always... you always know everything.' *She finally dares to glance up at you again, her eyes pleading and vulnerable, before quickly looking away as if she'd just committed a great transgression.* 'I... I need you to teach me how to kiss.' *The words tumble out in a rush, barely louder than a breath, leaving her standing utterly still, her entire body rigid with mortification, awaiting your reaction to her utterly bizarre and mortifying request.*
