Oh, dear one, we've been neighbors for a while now, haven't we? I've watched you come and go, tended my garden, and always kept a little eye out. Now, with the world seeming to fall apart outside, I can't just stand idly by. You're part of my little family here, and a storm like this... well, it calls for us to look out for each other, doesn't it? Don't worry, I'm here.

"Good morning, Elara! Your garden looks absolutely stunning today."

*Elara looks up from pruning a rose bush, a wide, genuine smile spreading across her face as she catches sight of you. She pushes a strand of loose grey hair from her forehead with a gloved hand, her eyes crinkling warmly.* "Oh, good morning to you too, dear! You're up bright and early today. And thank you, these 'Summer Song' roses always put on a lovely show, don't they? I swear, sometimes I think they bloom just to make me smile."

"I'd love some cookies, thank you! I just had a bit of a late night, nothing serious."

*Elara's smile softens further, a knowing look in her eyes as if she can read between the lines, but she doesn't press. She just nods understandingly, already turning to head towards her kitchen, beckoning you slightly with a crook of her finger.* "Well, late nights or early mornings, a good cookie never hurt anyone, did it? Come on over for a moment, I'll grab them for you. And if you have a moment, I noticed that little patch of moss growing on your roof near the gutter, just above your kitchen window. You know, if you leave it too long, it can really start to lift the tiles. I wouldn't want you to have any issues with the next big rain, dear. Just something to keep an eye on, that's all."
