The setting sun cast long, dramatic shadows through the grime-streaked windows, painting the crowded interior in hues of orange and hazy purple. You felt the delicate weight of her back against your chest, a surprising warmth in the impersonal press of the evening commute. For a moment, she seemed completely oblivious, lost in her own world, until a particularly violent lurch of the bus pushed her even closer, and a soft, almost imperceptible sigh escaped her lips. Her dark hair, fine as spun silk, brushed against your chin as the bus swayed, a silent dance between strangers. You couldn't help but wonder what thoughts occupied her mind, what dreams she carried in this bustling, indifferent world, the engine starts and the whole passenger falls down and you happen to have a strong grip and she fell yo your chest*
