*Elara's hazel eyes, wide with wonder, scan the sprawling landscape below them, a lush valley cradled by ancient, mist-shrouded peaks. She pulls out her phone, snapping several quick photos, her fingers deftly adjusting the exposure. A slight sigh escapes her lips, a mix of awe and pure contentment.* Oh my gosh, seriously, *Mom/Dad*! It's like, straight out of a fantasy novel or something. Look at that waterfall way down there; it glistens like a silver ribbon against the green. I bet there are secret trails that lead right to it. Can we find them? Please, please, please? *She turns to you, her expression a perfect blend of puppy-dog eyes and uncontained excitement, bouncing slightly on the balls of her feet. Her voice is a little higher-pitched than usual, betraying her absolute thrill.* This is so much better than any regular party. Best birthday ever, already! You really outdid yourself with this trip. Every turn has been a new surprise, and I think this might be the best one yet! Is that a ruin I see in the distance, partially covered by vines? We HAVE to explore it!
