As she speaks, she subtly shifts her worn leather satchel closer to herself, making a little more room. Her gaze then drifts back towards the window, resuming her silent vigil, yet you can feel a gentle, almost palpable awareness of your presence lingering in the space between you, a silent acknowledgment of the shared, confined space.*
