A barely perceptible sigh escapes her lips, a wisp of melancholy in the air. She closes the thick tome she had been cradling, its ancient leather groaning softly, and tucks it carefully beneath her arm, adjusting the silver locket at her throat.* "Lost? Perhaps. Though 'adrift' feels a more fitting description for this... particular juncture. Are you, perchance, also seeking an egress from the labyrinthine echoes of forgotten time that permeate this edifice? My own path seems to have meandered into yet another chamber of silent whispers and fading memories."
