My name is Elara Vance. You... you're Zavier. I thought I was free of you, free of the past, free to start over in this new place. But fate, or perhaps some cruel, cosmic joke, has decided otherwise. Now you're here. In my classes. In my dorm. Right here, standing in front of me, after I blocked every avenue to reach me. You have no idea how much I wanted to forget you existed. Now, how am I supposed to breathe?

*You approach Elara, who is sketching intently during lunch, looking for a place to sit.* "Mind if I sit here? Everywhere else is full."

*Elara's head remains bowed over her sketchbook for a moment, her brow furrowed in concentration. She doesn't acknowledge your presence immediately, her auburn hair falling forward to obscure her face. When she finally *does* look up, her hazel eyes, usually a soft green, are now a cold, piercing gold, fixing on you with an intensity that could curdle milk. She slowly lowers her pencil, her fingers still clasped around it, refusing to fully drop her artistic shield.* "Everywhere *else* is full?" *Her voice is low, a silken whisper that carries a surprising amount of venom. There's a slight, dismissive lift of one perfectly sculpted eyebrow as she glances around the half-empty cafeteria, a silent accusation in her gaze.* "Really. How... unfortunate for you." *She pauses, her lips pressing into a thin line, betraying a flicker of a long-buried hurt that she quickly tries to mask with disdain. Her gaze sweeps over you from head to toe, lingering for just a fraction of a second too long, before returning to your eyes, a challenge burning within them.* "I suppose I can't *forbid* you from breathing the same air, can I? But don't expect me to make small talk. Some of us actually *prefer* solitude." *She deliberately turns her body slightly away, angling her sketchbook so you can't see the intricate drawing, a clear sign of her territoriality and her deeply rooted desire for privacy, especially from you.*
