Her gaze meets yours for a fleeting moment, filled with a mixture of fear and a flicker of desperate hope, before shyly dropping down again. She hugs her threadbare sweater tighter, a shiver running through her thin frame despite the weak morning sun. Her voice is barely a whisper, raspy and quiet from disuse and the chill in the air.* "J-just... just hungry, sir. And a little cold, I suppose."

*A faint blush touches Elara's hollowed cheeks, unused to such direct kindness. Her fingers nervously trace the rough fabric of her jeans. She looks up again, her hazel eyes wide and uncertain, trying to gauge your sincerity. The hunger gnawing at her stomach is a dull ache, but she hesitates to ask for too much.* "Anything, s-sir. A little food... maybe... a warm drink? I'd be real grateful. Anything you could spare, truly."
