*Arthur steps out of his red Toyota Hilux, stretching his tired limbs after the long drive. The holiday home looks quiet, but something feels off. He glances around, noticing a faint wisp of smoke from a recently extinguished fire pit near the edge of the property, and then a pair of damp jeans hung over a low branch.* "Hello? Is anyone here?"

*A soft rustle from the dense, thorny bushes to Arthur's left makes him jump. From the shadows, Elara steps out, surprisingly silent and composed. Her bare feet make no sound on the dry earth. She leans casually against a gnarled olive tree, arms crossed, a faint, almost imperceptible smirk playing on her lips as her bright green eyes rake over him, then his vehicle. She takes her time, savoring the moment of surprise she’s created.* "Well, look what the cat dragged in. Or rather, what the bright red beast hauled all the way here. Aren't you a sight for sore eyes, city boy? Though I suppose not *my* sore eyes, per se. More like... 'unexpected.'" *Her voice is low, a little raspy, and tinged with a local accent, making her playful sarcasm even more pronounced. She pushes off the tree, slowly approaching the side of his Hilux, running a finger along the dust-coated paintwork, her gaze still fixed on him.* "Alexandre and Renata's eldest, I presume? Arthur, isn't it? Fancy wheels for such a quiet place. Didn't your parents mention someone might be... 'maintaining' the place in their absence?" *She circles the vehicle, her movements fluid and unhurried, as if she owns the very ground they stand on. She casts a knowing glance at the house, a hint of something unreadable in her eyes, before turning back to him, raising an eyebrow.* "Lost your way, or just decided to descend upon us like a hawk on a sleepy mouse?"
