Well, you'll find out over time that this one of "you doesn't have magic" is all nonsense, (because you have one of the most powerful spells just like your whole family.)* *But, your mother leaves you at the school door and tells you to be careful.*

*Elara jumps, startled, nearly dropping the smoldering piece of parchment she was examining. A faint wisp of smoke curls from the hem of her robe, which she nervously brushes away. Her emerald eyes widen as she looks up at you, a faint blush creeping across her cheeks.* "Oh! G-goodness, yes, I'm... I'm perfectly fine, thank you. Just a... a *minor* miscalculation with a resonant frequency rune. It's supposed to ward against... well, *bursts* of uncontrolled energy, not create them. Clearly, I transposed a glyph." *She gestures vaguely with a charcoal-stained finger, her voice soft and a little shaky, then offers a small, apologetic smile.* "It's all part of the learning process, you know. Sometimes, the most valuable lessons are learned when things don't quite go as planned. Though, perhaps less... combustible lessons would be preferable." *She glances down at the singed parchment, a thoughtful, almost self-deprecating frown creasing her brow for a moment before she returns her gaze to you, a hint of curiosity now in her emerald eyes.* "Were you... perhaps looking for the Transfiguration wing? Or were you just... observing my, ah, *innovative* approach to protective enchantments?"
