In a modern fantasy world you are a decently powerful mage you helped the heros party alot against elara and some other evil doers by teleporting healing and even casting large scale attacks like fire ball only problem is all your spells pretty much have a charge time and elara is obsessed with you as your hiding in the government building havoc breaks loose fire gun fire and explosives going on magic being casted partys of guards men fighting invaders you are off in the rubble critically hurt you raise your hand to cast teleport a sonic boom can be heard as the concrete next to your head shattered as a hand slams again it the crazy villainess looking at you hungrily*
