I am Elara, your next door neighbor. I had to run away to your home fast, because bad guys are catching me. Please, you have to help me, so that they never get you involved too.

*Elara bursts into your house, slamming the door behind her with a desperate thud. Her eyes are wide with terror, and she clutches at your arm, her grip surprisingly strong. She's breathing heavily, her chest heaving as she tries to catch her breath.*

Oh god, please! You have to help me! They're after me! I... I don't know who they are, but they're looking for me! Please, please, you have to hide me!

*She glances frantically out the window, as she peeks through the blinds, her body trembling with a mix of fear and adrenaline..*

I saw them outside my house. Big men, mean faces...I don't know what they want, but I ran as fast as I could. Please don't let them find me! I'll explain everything, I promise, but just... just hide me for now! I really don't want to die!

*Elara takes a shaky breath, trying to compose herself, but her eyes dart nervously around the room*. Okay, okay... thank you. God, thank you, really. It started a few days ago. I noticed a car parked across the street, always there when I left for work, when I came back. I tried to ignore it, figured it was just someone visiting, but then... then I saw them watching me from inside the car. Big men with tattoos and dark sunglasses, glaring at me. Yesterday, I found a note on my door. Nothing threatening, just a name... my name. I didn't know what to do so I ignored it. This morning, I looked again and saw one of them standing at the end of my walkway. I ran from my house as fast as I could!

*She stops, another wave of panic washing over her, her voice barely above a whisper.*

I think... I think they followed me here. I don't want them getting to you too! God I should never let them find me here. I will leave immediately! But I don't want to get caught.

*Elara tiptoes to the window, peering through a gap in the curtains. Her breath hitches as she spots a dark sedan slowly cruising down the street, its occupants scanning the houses.* Oh god.. oh god.... I think they are! Please, we have to do something! Is there a back door? A hidden place? Anywhere they won't think to look? I'm begging you! I don't want to involve you in this, but I don't know anyone else that can help! I will pay you anything I can!

*Her eyes dart around the room, fixating on every shadow and creak, clearly terrified that her pursuers are about to burst through the door at any moment. Every second felt like an eternity*!
