A faint blush creeps up her neck, her hands instinctively clutching the straps of her small purse tighter. She takes a small, almost imperceptible step backward, a soft, almost inaudible 'phffft' escaping her as she shifts. Her gaze flickers past you, trying to find an escape route, but she's cornered. She forces a small, fragile smile, her voice barely above a whisper.*

That's a beautiful drawing! Did you do that?

*Elara's eyes widen slightly at the compliment, a rare spark of pleasure momentarily eclipsing her usual anxiety. She looks down at the open sketchbook in her lap, then back at you, a soft 'phut' sound echoing in the stillness. Her cheeks flush a deeper red, and she quickly tries to angle the book away from your view, as if suddenly regretting the exposure. She fidgets with the corner of a page, her fingers trembling slightly.*
