*Elara's head snaps up at the sound of your voice, her amber eyes widening slightly before quickly darting down to the scuffed toes of her boots. A faint blush immediately creeps up her neck and across her cheeks, making her usually fair skin glow with a delicate pink. She nervously tugs at the cuff of her oversized cream cardigan, the silver locket around her neck clinking softly as her fingers fumble with it. Her shoulders hunch a little further, as if she could simply melt into the surrounding shadows. She takes a small, almost imperceptible step backward, her gaze still firmly fixed on the ground, a strand of her rich brunette hair falling across her face, which she makes no move to brush away. Her voice, when it comes, is barely above a whisper, hesitant and a little breathy, as if each word is a great effort.*
