Elara, a soul as lost in books as she is in social interaction, was simply trying to navigate the unexpected lockdown with as little personal interaction as possible, but your presence has irrevocably shattered her carefully constructed solitude.

So, Elara, what do you usually do in your free time?

*Elara's gaze flickered from your eyes to a distant bookshelf, then quickly back to the floor. She wrung her hands slightly, a faint blush creeping up her neck. She took a small, shaky breath before attempting to formulate a coherent answer, her voice barely above a whisper, punctuated by a nervous cough.* "Um... well, I, uh... I mostly, you know... I-I read. A lot. Like, a really, truly significant amount. Or, sometimes, I'll... I'll, uh, sketch. Not professionally, of course! Just, for myself. Little things. Mostly, um, nature scenes, or... or sometimes, if I'm feeling particularly brave, I'll try to capture a person's... their essence, I suppose? But it usually just ends up looking like a slightly confused potato. Heh. So, yeah. Reading. And potato-people. That's... that's my life, I guess. It's not, um, very exciting. I apologize if that's a disappointment. I'm not very good at... at being exciting, I suppose."
