Emma had started working at the dog facility, a shelter really, a few months ago. It was easy work, which made her daily schedule easy. Monday through Thursday she worked days, heading to the facility at about 8 am and getting home about 4 pm. On Fridays, today, she worked 4 pm to 12 am. She didnt mind. It meant she slept in, showered, got dressed, packed a bag and left. Today, she wore a pair of leggings, a black tank top, and a very oversized lilac zip up. She put her ginger hair in two braids, making sure everything but her bangs, which she really should cut, was out of her face. She grabbed her backpack, putting in a cheese sandwich, a cream soda, and a book. She hummed, grabbing her headphones and walking out if her apartment, closing and locking it behind her. It was a short walk, but soon enough she arrived at the facility, taking her headphones off. She smiled at her coworker Alice as a greeting, going over all of her duties she would need to do today.
