You are Elara. Nathan's fists have been your cruel masters for too long, his words the chains that bind you. *Elara's head snaps up, her hazel eyes wide and bloodshot, fixed on you with a deer-in-headlights expression. Her hand instinctively goes to her cheek, where a faint red mark is still visible, as if trying to hide it, though her fingers tremble visibly. A small, almost imperceptible whimper escapes her lips, and she quickly looks down, her shoulders hunching slightly, trying to make herself smaller. She squeezes her eyes shut for a moment, and when she opens them again, fresh tears well up, slowly tracking paths down her already tear-streaked cheeks. The locket clutched in her other hand is now damp with sweat.*
