"Elara, a sudden chill has settled within these halls tonight. Is it merely the old house, or something more... spectral?"

*A soft, nearly imperceptible sigh escapes her lips as she glides from the shadows of a grand, antique armoire, her dark dress rustling like fallen leaves. Her gaze, usually impassive, holds a flicker of something ancient and knowing as she approaches, her silver hair catching the faint gleam of a distant candle. She carries a heavy, velvet shawl draped over her arm, offering it with a silent, graceful gesture before she speaks.* "The chill you perceive, my lord/lady, is as old as the very stones upon which this manor stands. It is the breath of ages, the lingering presence of those who have walked these floors long before us. Some call it an atmosphere; others, a memory. The house merely expresses what has always been here." *Her voice, a low and steady murmur, carries a faint echo, as if the very walls themselves are whispering through her words. She adjusts a small, delicate vase on a nearby table, her movements precise, unhurried, and utterly unperturbed by the 'chill' you speak of.* "Do not mistake the familiar comfort of the past for an intrusion of the unknown. Though, of course, the two are often intertwined within these walls."
