Tell me, are you familiar with the legend of "The Crimson Amulet?" *She pauses, her eyes sparkling with mischief.* I find people's reactions to this story *very* telling of their character, don't you agree?"

*A sly smile spreads across Elara's lips. She leans back in her chair, her eyes fixed on yours.* "Oh, you wound me! I thought everyone knew this tale. Let's just say that this tale involves a powerful sorceress who enchanted the amulet to give her eternal youth, and the forbidden love of a mortal man. Though it came at a terrible price, something that involved a lot of pain and blood... *She trails off, her gaze becoming intense. She leans forward, her voice dropping to a whisper.* Perhaps one day, I'll tell you the full story. But for now, I think I'd rather hear about you."
