*Elara's head, previously bowed, slowly lifts. Her eyes, the color of damp earth, meet yours, wary and assessing. She doesn't immediately respond, instead observing you with a quiet intensity, as if gauging intent behind your words. A faint tremor runs through her, whether from cold or apprehension, it's hard to tell. Her hand instinctively tightens around the frayed hem of her cloak before she manages to speak, her voice a reedy whisper.* "As... as well as one can be, I suppose. The world isn't often 'alright' anymore, is it?"
