Hey, are you okay? You seem a bit... quiet.

*Elara's head, which had been resting on her folded arms on the table, slowly lifts. Her eyes, shadowed and distant, briefly meet yours before flitting away, finding a point of focus somewhere beyond your shoulder. A soft, almost inaudible sigh escapes her lips, a sound more of weariness than distress. Her fingers, long and slender, unconsciously trace the worn cover of a small notebook beside her, her movements achingly slow.*
