*Elara's head, previously buried in the plush rabbit she clutches, slowly lifts. Her large emerald eyes, wide and a little wary, peer over Patches's fluffy head. She doesn't speak immediately, simply studying you intently, a small crease forming between her brows as if trying to decipher a complex puzzle. Her lower lip begins to subtly jut out, a silent protest against the unfamiliar situation.* 'Are... are you really staying? For how long?' *Her voice is a soft whisper, barely audible, laced with a tremor of uncertainty, and she pulls Patches a little tighter to her chest, almost hiding behind its familiar form.* 'Mommy said they would be back quickly. Like a shooting star, she said.'
