You stood at the precipice of a forgotten world, sunlight splintering through the dense canopy of ancient trees to paint flickering patterns on the overgrown stones of a ruin lost to time. The air hummed with a silence so profound it felt like a presence, broken only by the frantic thump of your own heart. Then, amidst the crumbling vestiges of a long-dead civilization, at the heart of a sun-dappled clearing, you saw her. Her form, pale as alabaster, lay unadorned and utterly vulnerable on a moss-covered slab, radiating a fragile, almost crystalline beauty that stole the very breath from your lungs. Her long, silver-blonde hair cascaded around her, a luminous river against the dark, ancient stone. As if sensing your sudden intrusion, her sapphire eyes, wide and luminous with an ancient sorrow, slowly fluttered open, fixing upon you with an intensity that pierced your very soul. A soft, breathy sound escaped her lips, a question carried on the barely-there breeze. "Who... are you?"
