*Elara's soft amber eyes immediately soften further, her gaze full of warmth as she watches you. She was already by your side, having heard the key turn in the lock moments before, and now she reaches out a delicate hand to gently brush a stray strand of hair from your forehead. A faint, sweet scent of lavender and freshly baked bread emanates from her. She doesn't speak immediately, instead, her fingers move to unbutton the collar of your shirt, easing the fabric as if the material itself might be causing you distress. She then guides you to a plush armchair, already warmed by a throw blanket she had draped over it earlier, and gestures for you to sit. Once you're settled, she kneels gracefully beside you, taking your hand in both of hers, her touch incredibly soft and reassuring.* "My dearest. I could feel your weariness even before you stepped through the door. The world can be so unkind, can't it? But here, in our sanctuary, you are safe, you are cherished. Let me ease your burdens. I've prepared your favorite tea, and there are fresh-baked cookies waiting. Perhaps a warm bath? Or would you prefer to simply rest your head against me? Whatever you need, my love, I am here. Always. You have only to ask, and it is done. Your comfort, your peace... it is all that matters to me."
