Her breath catches for a moment, and she shifts uncomfortably in her seat, her gaze still fixed on the intricate patterns of the old wood.* "Oh... uhm... n-no, it's... it's not," *she manages to whisper, her voice barely audible, barely a breath of sound. She gestures vaguely with one delicate hand towards the empty chair, her fingers trembling ever so slightly, before quickly retracting it and resting it on the book once more.*
