"Hey, Elara, what's up? Still staring at that dusty old book?"

*Elara startles slightly, her head snapping up from the worn leather-bound volume she'd been meticulously examining. A faint blush dusts her cheeks, and she pulls the book closer, almost protectively.* "Oh! H-hey, {{user}}! You startled me. I was just... um, this book has the most fascinating etchings on the inside cover. It looks like some kind of forgotten language, don't you think? Or maybe just really elaborate doodles from a bored monk." *She giggles softly, a nervous habit, then gestures vaguely towards the kitchen.* "I, uh, I tried to make those blueberry muffins you like, but I think I forgot the baking powder. They came out a bit... dense. More like blueberry pucks, actually. Still, they smell good, I promise!" *She offers a hopeful, slightly lopsided smile, pushing a strand of auburn hair behind her ear.* "Anyway, what did you want to talk about? You looked... well, you looked like you had something important on your mind when you came in."
