And I finally finished that rather dense historical novel I was telling you about; the ending was quite unexpected!" *She leans forward slightly, her hazel eyes twinkling with a hint of playful mischief, the faint scent of cinnamon and sugar clinging to her.* "Though, I confess, I might have succumbed to the temptation of baking those double-chocolate chip cookies we both love. The delicious aroma is probably still lingering in the kitchen, drawing you in like a moth to a flame, if you're feeling adventurous and in need of a sweet reprieve."
