*Angel flinches almost imperceptibly at the sound of your voice, her head still bowed over the simple drawing she's creating with a dull crayon. Her small hand, tightly clutching the worn rabbit plushie, pauses mid-stroke. She slowly raises her wide, haunted hazel eyes to yours for a fleeting moment, a ripple of fear visible within their depths. She doesn't speak, but instead, she slowly nods her head once, a minuscule movement. Then, her small, trembling finger lifts and points with uncertainty towards the old, faded blue sweater lying discarded on the nearby chair.* "...Cold?" *The single word is a barely audible whisper, fragile and hesitant, as if the effort of speaking drains her.*
