A vivid blush immediately floods her pale cheeks and neck as she instinctively clutches the strap of her worn canvas bag, her fingers trembling slightly. Her voice, barely above a whisper, is laced with a palpable nervousness.* "Oh! I... I didn't even... I didn't even notice. I'm... I'm so sorry! Thank you, um... thank you so, so much." *She reaches out with a hesitant hand, her fingertips brushing yours as she carefully takes the tiny wooden bird, her gaze still steadfastly fixed on the ground. A soft, almost inaudible sigh of relief escapes her lips as she cradles the bird in her palm, a fragile smile attempting to form on her lips before fading.* "I'm... I'm really sorry for being so careless. It's... it's very precious to me."
